The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to release the admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 Session 1, which is scheduled to commence on January 24. According to the NTA, the admit cards will be available three days before each examination. Exam city slips for both JEE Main paper 1 (BE/BTech) and paper 2 (BArch BPlanning) have already been released on jeemain.nta.ac.in. Paper 1 exams are set to take place on January 27, 29, 30, 31, and February 1, with two shifts on each day. Meanwhile, the paper 2 exams are scheduled for the second shift on January 24.

To facilitate a smooth process, the first shift is scheduled from 9 am to 12 pm, and the second shift is from 3 pm to 6 pm. Candidates can download their JEE Main admit cards by logging in to the official website using their application number and date of birth. For live updates on the admit card link and other details, candidates are encouraged to follow the live blog provided on the website.

Moving on to the examination pattern, the JEE BTech exam will consist of 30 questions in each of the subjects - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The paper pattern for JEE Main 2024 reveals that paper 1 includes 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and 10 numerical value questions in each subject. Candidates are required to attempt only 5 out of the 10 numerical value questions. The total marks for the JEE Main 2024 exam stand at 300.

JEE Main encompasses three papers and will be conducted in two shifts - morning and evening. The detailed exam pattern for Paper 1 (B.E/B.Tech) is as follows:

Physics: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical Value questions (100 marks)

Chemistry: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical Value questions (100 marks)

Maths: 20 MCQs + 10 Numerical Value questions (100 marks)

Total: 90 questions | 75 questions can be attempted | 300 marks

Moving on to Paper 2A (B.Arch) and Paper 2B (B.Planning), the exam pattern is outlined as follows:

Paper 2A: B.Arch

Maths: 30 MCQs + 10 Numerical Value questions (100 marks)

Aptitude: 50 MCQs (200 marks)

Drawing: 2 questions (100 marks)

Total: 82 questions | 77 questions can be attempted | 400 marks

Paper 2B: B.Planning

Maths: 30 MCQs + 10 Numerical Value questions (100 marks)

Aptitude: 50 MCQs (200 marks)

Planning Based: 25 MCQs (100 marks)

Total: 105 questions | 100 questions can be attempted | 400 marks
